Om een volwaardige gesprekspartner van octrooigemachtigden of andere octrooispecialisten te zijn, heeft u goed inzicht nodig in het octrooisysteem: de eisen van een octrooiaanvraag, de kosten, maar ook een goede inschatting of u actie moet ondernemen bij mogelijke inbreuk van uzelf of anderen.

Tijdens deze workshop wisselen theorie, praktische voorbeelden en opdrachten elkaar af. U leert:

  • bepalen of andere octrooien aanleiding geven tot actie;
  • hoe nieuwheid en inventiviteit worden beoordeeld;
  • wat u eventueel zelf kunt doen en wat u beter aan specialisten over kunt laten;
  • inzicht te krijgen in kosten en octrooiprocedures;
  • octrooigemachtigden en andere octrooispecialisten te voorzien van de juiste informatie.

Aftermovie Health Valley Event

The Health Valley Event 2022 was taking place on 15, 16 and 17 March. We met start-ups with great new innovations in #health, such as Microcosmos and HelpSoq bv.

The theme was: Connect, Challenge and Grow! The programme offered a choice of various tracks for participants that all contribute to the social challenge: 
“Ensure that we will at least live 5 years longer in good health by 2040 and reduce the health differences between social classes by 30%.

This event is free of charge, registration is needed as a maximum of 12 participants can take part in this session. Please note you have to travel to/from Helmond with your own transport.

Introduction to Intellectual Property

One of the most important things a start-up has is a creative, fresh and innovative idea. It’s the core around which a start-up revolves and grows. Therefore it is of the upmost importance to protect your idea! On the other hand it is also equally important to go out and pitch your company to new clients, suppliers and investors. 

During the workshop Introduction to Intellectual Property Michiel Ras and Mark Jolink from EP&C Patent Attorneys will go into detail how to protect your most precious possession; your knowledge.

Michiel and Mark will explain which forms of Intellectual Property exist and will go into detail on the workings of patents. So that you can go bring your idea into the world but also keep it safe.
During and after the workshop you can discuss any questions you may have on your specfic situation / case.

Operating in three areas – business support, project and program development for innovation activities, and acquisition of innovation companies, Briskr brings together innovative entrepreneurs in its incubation program (start-ups), acceleration program (scale-ups), and activation program (established SMEs).

Qserve is a consultancy company operating in the worlds main medical markets. The team of experts and professionals support manufacturers worldwide to help improve patient safety and health by supporting the advancement of biomedical technology. Qserve assist medical device and in-vitro diagnostics manufacturers worldwide with market access, medical device approvals, clinical trials and achieving and maintaining regulatory compliance. 

Qserve is an important addition to the Brisk ecosystem. For many startups in healthcare certification is an important hurdle in order to enter the market. Look back: How2Finance

Yesterday morning we gathered early for the breakfast session on #How2Finance.
A large group of startups and entrepreneurs listened to various experts from Oost NL, Orion, Rabobank, Oneplanetcrowd, Netherlands Enterprise Agency (RVO) and Briskr who elaborated on a solid life cycle funding; Which options on financing can be used in different phases of the development of a company?
We then offered various rounds of speed dating with the experts so entrepreneurs could discuss their individual case. In the meantime we enjoyed the networking, drinks and bites.
We look back on a dynamic event with enthusiastic entrepreneurs that we can hopefully help grow their businesses in the near future.
