About

Briskr is all about health and high tech. Did you know that 30% of Nijmegens population works in health care? Or that this is where semiconductors have been produced since 1955? With global companies like NXP, Ampleon and Nexperia in High Tech and world renowned healthcare organisations like Radboudumc and Maartenskliniek we have a strong base in the Nijmegen area.

To turn innovation into entrepreneurship we are committed to create a vibrant environment for startups and promising SME’s in health and high tech, together with our partners. And with Briskr, that’s exactly what we do. We organise networking events, offer specialised support for startups and initiate large, cooperative projects where we join forces to invent the future.

Briskr supports all entrepreneurs in health and high tech in their specific needs. By streamlining support activities, we highlight the attractiveness of the region and its flourishing innovation ecosystem, and simultaneously make sure that our entrepreneurs boost their impact and make a change. For Nijmegen and – more importantly – a better world.

At Briskr, we support startups and innovative SME’s with:

  • targeted workshops though Briskr academy program
  • access to risk capital though business angels, venture capital and soft loans
  • support to develop a business model
  • support with finding office and lab spaces
  • validation services.

Our network of experienced healthcare innovation partners help us provide all the support you might need to succeed.
