Young Professionals: Join us for the Nijmegen Four Days Marches Event!

In just three weeks, Nijmegen will once again be buzzing with the excitement of the Four Days Marches (Vierdaagse(feesten))! On behalf of AMBT, the Young Professionals Network of the Municipality of Nijmegen, we are pleased to invite you to their annual Vierdaagse event.

We would love to welcome you on Monday, 20 July for an inspiring afternoon exploring the unique atmosphere, history, and traditions that make the Vierdaagsefeesten such a special event.

Programme

13:45 – Welcome in the Burgerzaal (arrival and registration)

14:15 – Official opening: We will kick off the afternoon with a short presentation by the Vierdaagse project manager. Following this, we will announce the group assignments and explain the rest of the programme.

15:00 – Walking tour: Participants will be divided into four groups and set off on a guided walk. Along the way, we will visit several remarkable locations where local organisations and entrepreneurs have been contributing to the Vierdaagse festivities for many years. They will share their stories, their passion, and the important role they play during this iconic event in Nijmegen.

16:15–16:30 – Arrival at Kronenburgerpark: All groups will reconvene at Kronenburgerpark for networking drinks.

18:00 – End of the event

Practical Information

• This event is organised for (young) civil servants from the Municipality of Nijmegen and the Province of Gelderland, as well as young professionals from Nijmegen’s Health & High Tech sector.
• Presentations throughout the afternoon will be delivered in English, unless a group consists entirely of Dutch speakers.
• The first two drinks and a reusable cup during the networking reception are on us.
• The walking route starts at City Hall, includes two stops, and ends at Kronenburgerpark. The total walking distance is approximately 1.5 km. If there is anything we can do to support your participation in this event, please let us know when you register.

We hope to welcome as many of you as possible. There are 25 places available for young professionals from Noviotech Campus. The remaining spots will be allocated among participants from the other organisations.
