NL USA Health Accelerator supports Dutch health startups entering the U.S. market

Dutch HealthTech, MedTech and Biotech startups and scale-ups with ambitions to enter the U.S. market can apply for the NL USA Health Accelerator, a six-week acceleration program by Cedars-Sinai Accelerator+ and Erasmus MC.

The program is designed for Dutch companies that have moved beyond the concept stage and already have a functional prototype, MVP or validated proof of concept. Participants should have a clear ambition to expand into the U.S. market.

Preparing for U.S. market entry

Entering the U.S. healthcare market offers significant opportunities, but also requires a strong understanding of the market, funding landscape and healthcare ecosystem. The NL USA Health Accelerator helps participating companies prepare for that next step through expert guidance, strategic connections and hands-on support.

Companies will work on their U.S. go-to-market and fundraising strategies and connect with clinicians, payers, investors and potential partners.

The program is relevant to companies working in areas including MedTech and medical devices, Digital Health, Biotech, Cell & Gene Therapy, Precision Medicine, Value-Based Diagnostics, Clinical Decision Support, Imagery & Guided Surgery and Improving Patient Outcomes.

From Rotterdam to Los Angeles

The program starts on 5 October 2026 in Rotterdam and runs for six weeks, culminating in the week of 9–13 November at Cedars-Sinai Accelerator+ in Los Angeles, in the week before HLTH USA. The flyer highlights the opportunity for participants to gain direct access to the U.S. healthcare ecosystem.

The participation fee is €2,500 per company, excluding flights and hotel accommodation.

Applications are open until 28 August 2026.
