Too often innovation in healthcare starts with a solution looking for a problem, leading to expensive pilots and little impact. In the Nijmegen area we think that especially in healthcare a pilot should start with professionals and patients defining their need.
Based on this need we define the challenges for entrepreneurs to respond to with innovations that are a solution to a problem, instead of the other way around. These solutions can be start-ups developing new technologies, but also scale-ups and grown-ups with existing solutions that just need to be tailored to healthcare.
