AI for life podcast 5: when is virtual realistic enough?
Subject of this fifth episode: the use of AI in “virtual agents” to train people, for example to prepare them for certain work situations. Together with Tibor Bosse (Radboud University), Romy Blankendaal (TNO) and Eric Jutten (The Simulation Crew) we discuss questions such as: what is a virtual agent, how smart does the virtual agent actually have to be to be effective, and is enough to be only virtual or do we also need other (human) feedback to be convincing. Questions that are the subject of research at Radboud University and Radboudumc. For example, it has been investigated whether NS employees can be trained with the help of these agents and VR glasses, among other things aimed at good interaction with the customer. Have fun listening!
