Dutch Medicines Days 2026
7–8 October 2026 | CORPUS Congress Centre, Leiden
Innovate. Translate. Cure.
How do we turn scientific discoveries into better medicines and healthcare solutions? And what happens when researchers, industry experts, entrepreneurs, healthcare professionals and policymakers come together to exchange knowledge and ideas?
On 7 and 8 October, the LDDC | FIGON Dutch Medicines Days 2026 will bring together the Dutch pharmaceutical sciences and drug development community at the CORPUS Congress Centre in Leiden.
This year’s edition is organised by FIGON in conjunction with the Leiden Drug Development Conference (LDDC), creating a broad two-day programme around the theme Innovate. Translate. Cure.
Participants can expect high-level plenary lectures, parallel scientific sessions, industry innovation presentations, PhD and poster competitions and plenty of opportunities to meet and connect with professionals from academia, industry, healthcare and government.
Topics throughout the programme include drug discovery and translational pharmacology, precision medicine, clinical research, immunopharmacology, AI and data-driven drug development, regulatory science, preclinical models and next-generation methodologies.
Among the speakers are leading experts from academia, industry and public organisations, including Annemieke Aartsma-Rus (LUMC), Luc Brunsveld (TU Eindhoven), Conny Helder (Health~Holland & FAST), Adam Stoten (Evotec) and Karla van Rooijen (Ministry of Health, Welfare and Sport).
For startups and SMEs working in Life Sciences & Health, Dutch Medicines Days offers a valuable opportunity to gain new insights into developments across the medicines development chain, meet potential partners and researchers, and connect with the wider Dutch Life Sciences ecosystem.
