Between the semiconductor sector in the Netherlands and in the Philippines are strong cooperations, already since 1980. Companies like Nexperia, Ampleon and Gallium have a strong presence in both countries.</p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">To strengthen ties and find new opportunities the ministry of trade and the ministry of energy organised a round table discussion. Present were the Ambassador J. Eduardo Malaya, Minister for trade Alfredo Pascual as well as representatives from the semicon industry in the Philippines. From the Nijmegen region the Alderman John Brom, Director Economic Board Jan van Dellen and Martijn Kriens from Briskr where present as well as Charles Smit, chairman Holland Semiconductors and Willem Endhoven, director of HightechNL.</p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Part of the followup will be a trade mission to the Philippines in Oktober.</p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>June 30 the Embassy of the Philippines together with Briskr organised a visit of the Philippines trade minister to Nijmegen and the Noviotech campus.
